According to CBS
News, former Assistant Secretary of State for Maghreb Affairs Raymond
Maxwell has been writing poetry about the Benghazi scandal. The Obama Administration has been eager to
frame Mr. Maxwell, a Navy veteran and 20-year foreign service officer, for the
terrorist attack in Benghazi that resulted in the deaths of four Americans,
including the Ambassador.
If Mr. Maxwell can write poetry, so can we! Here is a little limerick to complement his
efforts:
There was an old lady named Hillary
Who left staff to be killed by artillery,
Her response took the cake:
“What difference does it make?”
She’ll soon need to hire a consiglary!
(Yes, I know it’s “consigliere.”)
If it makes you feel better, I plan to keep my day job!
