Gore Gets the Blame

An aide to Virginia freshman Senator James Webb (D) was caught with a loaded pistol and two fully-loaded magazines inside a Senate office building today. After an intensive investigation, both Republicans and Democrats have decided that former Vice President Al Gore is responsible for this incident. A staffer on the Senate Energy and Public Works Committee explained: “This was another one of Gore’s fraudulent carbon offset schemes. He convinced Webb’s aide to pack heat!”
